Do you like your name? Do you know same story behind your name? Everyone has there own name, and many people have a small story behind their name. Also, everyone’s name has some of the expression of the family of blessings, and some contain the parents of expectations and love. I think if some people know the story of their name, they will love their name more and more. My name is Yu Qiu. My last name follows my father’s last name “Qiu” which means “autumn”, and my mother gave me the first name which is “Yu” that means “rain”. Many people say my name is nice and profound, and they like my name so much.

  Speaking of my name, there is also has a small story. I knew this story from my mother, I was born with a small rain, so they gave a word “Yu”. In addition, my birthday is November 28, so the rain reminded people the weather gets colder. However, at that time, the weather was very hot and dry in my hometown, so rain can bring back the flowers and trees that were dying of thirst, and it also can bring back wheat crop, so farmers can see the hope of harvest. Therefore, I know why my mother gave me name “Yu” because she wants me to bring hopes for others like rain. I like my name so much since I learned my name’s story.
